I usually start my shopping at Aldi, by Southern Dunes, then finish off at Walmart.
Hazel.
We also visit the one not far from the Terrace near Florida Mall on the way out from the airport
We use the one opposite Walmart on the 192 in Kissimmee. Love their chocolate cake, buy lots of things there now much cheaper than Walmart.

We tried the one on the 192 but it was very poor, very little on the shelves, we wouldn't bother again. I still prefer Publix, very helpful staff, unlike Walmart or Target where they couldn't care less. The Manager at the one close to the junction of 192 and 27 is great and if something is not in stock he'll happily get it for you. I would rather pay a few pennies more for quality and service.

I agree with you Andrea. My holiday time is precious and I don't want to have to go to two shops because I can't find all I want in the first, just to save a few dollars. I do shop around at home, when I can stock up for a few weeks and can alternate between the supermarkets, going to a different one each week, but not on holiday when I am only shopping for a week or two at most. We rarely eat out in Orlando, as we both like a drink before our evening meal on holiday and can't drive home, so I am happy to pay a bit extra for good quality meat for the BBQ and I don't think Publix can be beaten. I don't even like WalMart steak as it always tastes so salty, but I know I am fussy as I work as a "food taster".

Gerry, even although we stay for 6 - 8 weeks we still prefer the better quality at Publix. I agree with you about Walmart 's steak in fact most of their meat is a bit iffy.
