When to go to Florida?

Christmas is a great time of year to see Florida. It is decorated to within an inch of its life - but great!

We like to go March/April time or Nov/Dec time as the temps are much better for me. Personally don't like the high temps and humidity in July/Aug. We have been to the beach in Dec, it was lovely and warm and only had to share it with the sandpipers!! It was classed as not hot enough by the Floridians!

I have to agree as they are the two times we love to go, although December is our favourite it's just more magical. We don't do all the parks so much now so we are not too worried that they are busy at Xmas.

As KG said in an earlier post the only downside is the shorter days but we can put up with that.

We gave spent a few Christmas and New Year trips and have experienced very varied weather, from mid to high 80's to minus six on 2nd January. Weather is very variable. We find the best times to be March - May and October - mid-December.

We love anytime over there. Christmas is magical, Halloween is fantastic, Spring is stunning & the rest of the year is awesome.

So its really a win, win holiday (whenever you choose):-):-)

I wouldn't stress about what to pack. Pack a few items and buy the rest when you get there!
