    Sea fishing July

We are going to our home in July and as something different we wanted to go fishing. We live at the seaside in the UK and used to own our own boat so are seasoned fisherpeople and have fished on other holidays in Africa and the Caribbean but never in Florida. In July which coast would be the best to catch relatively big fish, Atlantic or Gulf? We were going to get a charter for 3 people and so I've got various internet quotes but wondered if anyone had a recommendation.

We try and have a days fishing each time we go. Both good, Mexican gulf tends to be a bit more choppy but I think bigger fish to be had. However, the Atlantic wont disappoint. Get a charter that will give you trolling and bottom fishing. Trolling last year we got some nice Mahimahi's, Wahoo and Kings. To top it all off, we landed a 90lb Atlantic Sailfish. We also got some big AJ's as well, these really test the muscles. Cost $920 for a full day, including tip.
