If i take the silver basic option with Dollar and i return the car full am i right in thinking I wont be charged for fuel or is this just with Alamo

Dollar won't allow you to do that anymore. We have had to pay for a tank of gas on pick up and return empty for the last few trips, we'd rather just return it full.

This is just with Alamo. Dollar now insist you return empty and will not refund for any unused fuel. With Alamo if booked by us, you can opt on collection of the car to return full to avoid being charged for the tank.

Sorted thanks booked with Dollar as that was the cheapest from Nashville, even with paying for the fuel. Used to use Dollar but then Alamo was always cheaper but this time is was Dollar.

When I picked the car up at Nashville the guy asked if we wanted to return it full, I asked if this was possible and he said sure is. So i am taking it back tomorrow, will see what happens.
