    Silver Inclusive or Gold Inclusive

    Hi

Looking to rent a 7 seater mini van for 4 adults + 1 child + cases (5 full size case + hand luggage) from MCO for 2.5 weeks, Alamo are the renter coming back on the search. 2 Adults will be sharing the driving, can you confirm silver inclusive gives 2 drivers, as the search reports 2 drivers, but the site says to contact as it depends on rental company.

There is a £21 price difference between Silver Inclusive & Gold Inclusive for the mini van, we will not be using more than 2 drivers, but I was thinking of paying for the full tank of fuel so we are not messing around on the last day to return fuelled, or paying a higher fee at the airport if we return empty, gold includes a full tank of fuel paid for, are there any other advantages to paying for Gold Inclusive? £21 extra appears to be for paid tank of fuel & extra 2 drivers (which we do not need)

    Thanks for any advice.

£21 extra just for a full tank of fuel is a great price especially for a 7 seater van - we are using one at the moment and it costs around $70 to fill it.

    Go for Gold!

Yeah, I would go for the Gold option too. The £21 is worth it to save yourself the hassle of having to do battle with the rental car agent as they try to upsell you on a tank of fuel!

We've had the same dilemma but £21 extra is a good deal. We were charged £40 for a full tank for a smaller vehicle at Easter.

Thanks for the advice, for the extra £21 I will book the Gold inclusive as the full tank is included, so I can return empty with no charges at the airport.

Thanks Philomena, how do you find the 7 seater minivan for space? we are 4 adults + 1 eight year old child, will be arriving at MCO with 5 full size cases + some hand luggage, we are in Orlando for 4 days, then driving down to Sarasota for 2 weeks, is the 7 seater mini van large enough for this? looks like the back seats fold down to create more luggage space, just concerned if we will get it all in !!!

The back row of seats each fold down individually so you should have plenty of room once the other two seats are folded down. If you needed to use all seven seats it would not have enough room for 5 cases plus hand luggage.

Have a great holiday - we were at Siesta Key Beach yesterday at Sarasota and it was beautiful!

As all above have said, it sounds like in your case the Gold option is a better choice for you, but I confirm the Silver Inclusive option does include 2 drivers (and the Silver Basic just 1 driver).
