OK looking for something different...any advice?

We have flogged the parks to death, and will be flogging some more this year. The family (all adults) are now looking for something different to fit in to our schedule. Can't be too expensive and represent good value, also be within reasonable traveling distance. On the radar are Ripley's Believe It or Not, Wonderworks & Gatorland. Never been to any of these before, and would probably visit more than one attraction per day, e.g. Ripley's & WW. Are these attractions worthwhile for adults, and is there any other attractions we should consider?

The Titanic Experience on International Drive is quite interesting.

A day trip to the coast, either Atlantic or Gulf.

If any of you like steam trains you can see and ride a 1907 steam train that runs between Tavares and Mount Dora.

OK Wonderworks sounds a goer. Maybe do a day at Clearwater beach as well, never been there.

Every year we hire a pontoon and sail the St John River, we stop of at blue Springs State Park and watch the manatees, it's a lovely day out.

The river is very easy to navigate and there are markers all along the route.

    This is the link:- hontoon.com/specials.htm

Happy to help if you have any questions

Fantasy of Flight's well worth a visit...
Bok Tower for a relaxing wander (if you're of that ilk ??) - decent cafe with Brilliant savory fries (chips to us !!!)
Silver Springs for a glass-bottomed boat trip.
Cypress Lake airboat tours is more 'outback' than the usual trips !! ( Want a prop. for your airboat ??? - the cafe sells spares !!!)

Have you done a dinner show? My family and I love those. They can be expensive, but deals can also be found.

Dinner shows? Done Arabian Knights, show OK, food terrible. Done Sleuths Murder Mystery, show below average, food below average but better than AK. Done Wantilan Luau at Lowes Royal Pacific, food realy good and show was enjoyable. Got stung for $42 for parking.

Blue Man Group are an experience worth having--if you fancy a couple of days away the St Augustine to the north east is an old colonial town well worth a visit

Another vote for St. Augustine. Oldest city in USA and Spanish with little winding streets, horse and carriages, plenty of things to see, etc. You could also go to Daytona Beach and drive along the beach - you could take a picnic and have everything to hand - right on the beach. The racetrack is supposed to be good too, my husband went there and really enjoyed the day.
