What to do in Dublin ??

Just been told by Aer Lingus that our flights have been re-scheduled [V]
We now fly into Dublin airport from Florida at 9:25 & leave at 16:45 for Brissle.
Question: What's to do / see in Dublin which will fit into time-frame ??

How's about the hop on hop off bus tour, then you can hop off for some lunch and may be a Guinness or 3 !

    Martin, Sue,
Temple Bar is where the tourists go, you can get any amount of Leprechaun hats and Dublin T-shirts etc. if that's what you fancy. There's lots of places to eat. A walk down the river is quite a nice way of passing the time, there's some good pubs on the way, and a Pint of Guiness in Dublin, is better thana pint just about anywhere else, I'm not a Guiness drinker, but I'd cross the Irish Channel for a pint. Dublin Shopping in the city centre is pretty good with cool shops you don't get on the Mainland. The Guiness factory tour is worth the admission fee for sure, as is the Bushmills Distillerry. I guess it's about a half hour car/Taxi/bus journey from the airport to the center. Dublin is a great city, made better by the Dubliners. I can speak with authority as I'm from Liverpool... have a great day.

    Hi Martin & Sue,

So by the time you are onto the street it will be 10am .. ( your luggage will be re directed to the next flight that you take )

Time in Dublin will be 4 hours .... 10 am to 14.00 hrs ...... then 2hr + for Re check in .

Here is a plan .... At entrance take the Green Air Link Bus " No 747 " all the way to Heuston Station ( Start to finish ) Cost € 10 Return PP

This Journey will take one Hour each way and will pass Most Of the Tourist points of interest .

Then ( A ) Have lunch at the Railway Station 20 yards on your Left as you alight from Bus and enter the building

OR ( B ) Walk the 300 yards to The Guinness Tour entrance & " Do " the Tour and have a Free Pint of Guinness .

THEN Walk back to Railway Station Heuston & Take the Green Bus 747 Back to Airport Terminal.

This Railway Station & Bus 747 IS the ONE I use when going to Orlando. ( Cork .... Dublin .... Orlando )

You have about 4 hours actual time in Dublin.

Take the Green Bus ( 747 ) to the end of its journey ( 1 Hour ) This shows you by accident most of the Main Sights of Dublin City

Get off Bus at Terminus ( Heuston Railway Station ) then Walk back 300 yards To Guinness & " Do " The Guinness Tour then Re Trace your steps
to Heuston Station ..... Catch the Green 747 Bus back to Airport .. Cost € 10 Euro Return PP
