So when does a driving licence expire?

Started the process of registering for the fast service hire car pickup. The registration details ask for driving licence expiry date. Now on my paper licence in the Provisional Entitlement table, my licence is dated from XX/XX/77 to XX/XX/27. But on my plastic card, the dates are valid from XX/XX/12 to XX/XX/17. So which date do i register? I think it will be the paper copy, but hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction.

I would put the earliest date and then you are covered both ways.

I had the same problem last time - just entered the earlier one and then no questions asked.

Just wondered, do you reach a signifcant birthday in '27, from memory our original licenses were valid until something like 70th birthday but the photocard are for 10 years only.

Am glad I still have old pink one which just goes through to my 70th birthday of course, I have told hubby when cannot move until after then so we are rattling around in a large house now the boys have left home but they have left so many belongings behind that if we did down size we would need to hire a huge amount of storage for their things.
