    Mum's Birthday

    Gee

Booked the holiday and realised its mums birthday while we are there.

I suppose we can get a birthday cake from Walmart etc, but what about party ballons etc, we want to sort of decorate the villa a bit so
when she gets up its a surprise

Wal-Mart also have a huge selection too - in fact just about any of the supermarkets do [msnsmile]

The publix bakery is the best around so I'd head there for a cake in the first instance.

Or, better still, for a cake what about a Friendly's ice cream cake? They look absolutely wonderful - see http://www.friendlys.com

Dairy Queen (MmmmMmmm) also do ice cream cakes http://www.dairyqueen.com/en-US/Cakes/default.htm

They're both on your favourite road too Chris! [msnwink]

I know a lady who might be able to decorate the villa for you. I don't know her charges but can investigate for you if you would like.

BTW-Publix do really nice cakes. We got our daughter's wedding cake from there and it was scrumptious (not fruit cakes).Hers was about £30 for a heart shaped one.

When I said we usually have a fruit cake for weddings-the lady looked in horror and said-You mean you have christmas cake-as a wedding cake?'

They usually have a book that you can pick from if you want something a bit different-and you can also ask them if they can do whatever you choose in different colours.

Thats very kind of you, I need to check with the wife about the decorating
and obviously the Owner if thats ok.

Think its gonna be Publix then , we can do that on our first day cos we leave the kids and
my mum at the villa while we pop out to publix.
