We found boardwalk this year after a decade of visiting Disney. It is not easy to find, we had to park in an overflow area of the boardwalk hotel and then walk through the hotel to get to it. Maybe there is an easier way. I think I did see a club there and there are several shops and restaurants around a lake. We walked all round the lake - about a 20/30min stroll. You can also get a boat across the lake or to Epcot - not the main entrance but the one by 'France' on the Epcot lake.
