Chin up Liesa, when all this is sorted and you are strolling round MK with your granddaughter you will be able to put all this behind you.
The mind boggles really, I know the immigration officers are only doing their job but when you think of the people we let in our country without so much as blinking an eye it seems so unfair.

Thanks Wend... both boys on their way... hope everything goes good.. both were bit short fused with everyone last night but after good nights rest they are back to their usual crazy selves... phew!! told Derek to twiddle his toes or thumbs when having blood test, but also tell the person whose doing it that he has a fear of needles...

Perhaps this will cheer you up - when Andrew went to University of Miami to study we had to take out the UM health insurance for him (mandatory for that Uni although not for all through out the States) but it was pretty useless as when it came to the travel portion it only covered for events within 50 miles so we still had to provide him with cover taken out from this country to actually cover him properly. What did make us laugh was as part of the policy it was mandatory that HE was covered for pregnancy related issues - we told them if he got pregnant he would not have to worry as we were sure he would be able to sell his tale to the papers for enough to cover any expenses but they still insisted he was covered. To us it just seemed to be a 'nice little earner'!
