Returning rental car with Alamo with a full tank?

We just returned but paid for a full tank, did not want to worry about finding a petrol station to save just a few pennies. I find they don't charge much more than filling yourself and it's hassle free. We just had under a quarter and put $5 for airport

I do the same. Paying a little extra is worth the peace of mind of not having to worry about it as you're heading to the airport.

Me too. I always return empty. I spend enough in the holiday that a few dollars left In then tank is not something I bother about

I have to agree.
Last year I paid for a full tank on pick up and even including the charge it was a few cents cheaper than at the pumps on the way home, of course it could have been the other way around.

We took ours back full, we filled up at a gas station just before the OBT/417 entrance. Guage still showing full at airport.

I have so far always gone to the desk, never straight to the garage, but have registered for the Alamo Insiders program so hope to go straight to the garage in October.

We did that in Febuary, completed details online in UK and as we had a reference number was told by Alamo rep standing by machine to go straight to garage. Took a bit longer to go through at exit but not problem.

We had a Silver Basic booking (1 driver) not sure how it would work for extra driver.
