Up to date info required on Alamo at Tampa airport

We are looking at flying into Tampa and would like to know the up to date information on renting from Alamo. I have done a search on here, but a lot of info is very out of date:

1. Is the car hire for Alamo now on airport?

2. How much of a choice will I get?

Alamo is located just opposite the baggage claim area, so yes on site.

It is a pick and choose in the class of rental hired.

So will depend how quickly you get to the kiosks and out to choose your car.

And whether the kiosk are operating fully. Ourselves and another owner on a different date all stood and re-entered ALL the information that Alamo had already been given by us only to find at the very last screen that the kiosk could not 'complete the reservation' so it was off to the desk. Complete waste of time in my view but would be wonderful if the system worked.

For us I was told the machine had probably run out of paper and only the manager had access to the paper supply.
