    Has anyone flown with Airtours?

We are flying out from Glasgow in July and are flying with Airtours(My Travel). Has anybody else flown with them?

    Don.

Lots of times!! They are OK, what you would expect for the price. Gets you there quick and easy which is the main thing.

Hi Don, we've flown with Airtours ex Glasgow the past 2 years and they were fine. Just the usual (2-4-2) seating and meals okay.

Would fly with them again, going Icelandair this time as we're off in 3 weeks and there's not much choice for flights ex Glasgow at this time of year.

We have flown with them to but from Birmingham, the flight was half full so got a lot of extra seats.

We've used them on the past - no problem, service basic as you would expect for the price.[msncool]

It's usually been the airline of Hobson's choice as there's not much direct out of Newcastle.

To be fair -never had a problem with them-and some of the planes have been new airbuses with tv screens on seat backs which has been handy.

Not a lot of legroom-but it's what you get in cattle class I'm afraid.

Have flown with Airtours once (in July from Gatwick)- last minute bargain, and they reduced the baggage allowance to 15kg each, not too much legroom (as mentioned above) but flight and entertainment were fine.

We flew with Airtours (My Travel) in June 2002.

They are just like any other charter company, i.e. pack as many passengers in as possible, and the flight/food/entertainment was fine. In fact, the only problem with the outbound flight was that we had to stop off in Belfast to pick up more passengers, but this was something we'd known when we booked.

Unfortunately, the return leg of our journey to Manchester was delayed by around 10hrs and the flight back to Gatwick had to be put of until the following day (the passengers were shuttled off to a hotel in Orlando).

The 10hr delay was OK for us as we'd not given the car back and went back to Disney for day, but for those people who had returned their cars, it was a VERY long day in Sanford airport.

Its not put us off tho' as we're flying with My Travel again in June this year.
