Full size 4 door car

Hi

I've been looking at the full size car to hire and it says it's large enough for 5 suitcases. Has anyone managed to get 5 suitcases in the boot of that car? I don't want to book a car that cannot hold the luggage.

Think they would have to be quite small cases. We have had a full size car and the boot was spacious but we only had 2 large cases and 2 small hand luggage size cases.

If you're talking normal-sized hard-shell cases, then unlikely !!! (& then you'll usually have 5 carry-ons as well to fit somewhere ??)
American cars don't have the biggest boots & they don't 'do' hatchbacks.
If there's 5 of you, you're probably best advised to select an 7 seat SUV or van where you can fold the back row of seats to give more luggage space....
We always use soft cases these days which will 'mould' to the available space !!
