    Indian Wells

    Hi,

I have looked at the map of communities and feel that Indian Wells would be the best community location for us but would like to hear from people who have holidayed there to find out what it is really like.

    Thanks Ann

    Hi Ann

Indian Wells is a very established community just off highway 535 and close by is a Super Walmart and petrol station and yes its location is excellant for access to Disney and Premium outlet mall just up the 535.

    Regards,

    Mark.

We stayed in Indian Wells three times in the '90's. it was an excellent location and we stayed in three lovely villas. This is however almost 20 years ago and the villas must now be in excess of 25 years old, that's not to say that they won't be well maintained but I would think the villas and the community are not as modern as some of the villas advertised on this site.
if you are looking for a location based purely on its convenience for Disney it would be hard to better it. You have got Walmart next door and Lake Buena Vista Outlets round the corner so shopping is taken care of as well.

Being owners of a villa approaching it's 23rd year, although not as "modern" as some (us or our home) would humbly suggest, assuming decent maintenance & upgrades, that as with most things "modern" the size of villas ( & their surroundings ) have shrunk considerably over the years.
An older property (& community) can benefit by being considerably more spacious than it's more modern counterpart with a much greater pool area, more open surroundings & less likelihood of being overlooked......[]

I totally agree Martin and Sue and was not trying to cast doubt on anybody's property, merely trying to give a balanced view. If the property and the community have been well maintained then it will be as good if not better than many of the modern homes and communities.
