    Prestige Hire Option

We have used US car hire for a number of years now and usually hire a Tahoe. Last year I took a Suburban as an upgrade at the airport. For $10 a day I thought it was reasonable.

As there are 6 of us this year I thought about using the new prestige option and going for a Suburban or Escalade by choice as I think the Tahoe might be tight on luggage space. If it was just the drive from the airport I think we could manage but later in the holiday we are driving down to Marco.

been on the site for prestige choice but when I put the details in we only get up to a tahoe offered. We are picking up from MCO and dropping off at Miami, will that stop the option of prestige hire.

I'm afraid so, they do not allow one-ways with the Prestige cars.

Does that also mean I won't have an upgrade option at the airport if I have booked a Tahoe?

They may let you upgrade at the airport, but it will be at the discretion of the staff on duty based on demand at the time.

Thanks Roger, looks like I will have to take the risk. I know from previous that the tahoe will do the job for 6 of us but luggage will be a squeeze on the trip to Marco.

Although if I don't get a tahoe I think some other 7 seat suv might not be roomy enough and I don't want to go down the route of a van.

Booking made, Thanks for the info.

Apart from the Tahoe does anyone know what other 7 seat full size SUV that Alamo do from MCO. Looking at the Ford Expedition and Nissan Armarda they look roomy enough as well but not sure about the Dodge & Jeep Range.

    6 months and I can't wait. :>)
