    Miami Hotel

    Hello

On our next trip to Florida we are hoping to drive down to Miami for a few days stay. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced hotel that is quite near to South Beach.

    thanks

Check out the Surfcomber. It's one of the original art deco hotels. We've stayed there a couple of times, (although not recently) and it was definitely a good combination of value, location, comfort. Just looking at it on Tripadvisor and it's now ranked #3 in South Beach.

We always look for the Marriott group hotels when travelling in USA and are never disappointed especially with the Fairfield Inn's. Not too expensive, middle of the road and always include breakfast.
    Worth a look.

Be cheaper to book a beachfront condo...we going in january and have booked a condo overlooking the beach on oceon drive.
4 nights like £450...atleast you get your own balcony with sea view..some hotels down this way want that in dollars a night..

Just came back from Miami at the weekend and we stayed at the Blue Moon Hotel on south beach. It is part of the Marriott Autograph collection of hotels. Nice art deco hotel, central to everything

When in Miami try and go on the Duck tour unfortunately we missed it this last time but our friends have been on it twice and said it is a great way to see Miami and such fun. Bookings can be made at the Tourist Information office on South beach.
Best cocktails ever served on South beach but be aware they can be lethal.
