Virgin Atlantic January Sales?

I've read in a couple different threads that Virgin sometimes have a flight sale in January. Did that happen this year and is it something you can bank on or just hope for?

I'm looking at flights now for early May and I'm getting them for approx £560 each direct to MCO from Manchester. I know this is decent but some of the people I'm flying with can't pay for flights for another couple months yet...

Is it worth waiting for January you think?

We always book in the January sale for our summer trip. Last year it wasn't great as the summer prices were sky high (no pun intended)

It's better for off peak dates though

Virgin along with BA have a sale beginning around Christmas.
