Margaret's trip continuation of part 2

Sorry for the short report before I find that these days I forget things so easily so I must try and write these reports while they are still fresh in my mind Because we had been up so early, we left AK around 3.00. we had seen and done all we wanted and the pool was calling to us! We cooled off for an hour or so then freshened up before driving to Downtown Disney. We decided that we wanted to try Planet Hollywood (never been before), and as it was still only 6.30 we got a table straight away. OH and son both had burgers, daughter had spaghetti and I had chicken with pasta, very nice it was too. No room for dessert this time so we went for a walk around outside. We wandered in and out of various shops, stopping to listen to some of the music that was being played. eventually we decided to head back "home", the tiredness was catching up on us.
The next day was actual Labour Day (Monday), we drove to Premium Outlets so we could spend our dollars OH was very happy with his Sketchers and jeans, son and daughter both enjoyed spending their money too. Myself I now have our 8 month old Grand daughter to buy things for so had fun looking for things for her. I had forgotten how busy the shopping places can get, parking was a bit of a pain. Again we headed back home for some cooling off and chilling by the pool reading my new Kindle.
In the evening we went to Perkins and had our favourite roast turkey meal, this time we ordered dessert to go
Afterwards, we drove up International Drive intending to visit the Prime outlets there but if anything, the car parks were full to bursting so we decided to orget about shopping ( think OH was pleased!!) and went and had a game of crazy golf instead.
Will write and tell you about our next day (Tuesday) when I have time.
    Margaret

Animal Kingdom always seems hotter than any of the other parks. I remember being told.....I think.....it has it's own micro climate, something to do with all the trees and foliage so not surprised the pool was calling you!!!
    sounds like you're having fun!

Sounding like a great start to your holiday. I always have to take Perkins dessert home, for later, dinner is so filling. Love Perkins, their Pork Chops are the best.

I love the dessert counter at Perkins - banoffee or lemon meringue pie every time for me!
