Virgin seat map available

Don't know how long it's been back online but just managed to select seats for my up coming flights, right near the front as well!
Wonder how long it will be before we are moved for "operational reasons"

I had a text from them yesterday and was able to reserve mine.

Booked mine on Friday for our trip in November but cannnot book for next May yet. Think I read that seat maps are available now for flights up to 90 days but may be all available from 8th October.

Just booked my flights - out from Manchester 24th Nov, back 6th Dec. Have managed to reserve my seats but notice that we are on a 747-400 both ways and they are not the updated versions. A bit disappointed!

I thought the whole fleet was scheduled to be done by then.

So did I but looking at the seat map the configuration is exactly the same as previous trips. You never know though, we might turn up at the airport and everything has been changed!

Reading the Virgin site, it is only the premium economy layout that has changed, they have removed the little 4 row economy cabin at the front of the aircraft to make it a larger premium cabin.
All the economy seats are new as is the entertainment system, all the planes were due to be done by the end of October,I was told by virgin that the fourth plane of 7 is nearly ready, let's hope as we are flying out on October 30th and are in the 747.
