Hello Nick,
Welcome to the forum. I've never been to Florida at Christmas but I know it is a hugely popular time to visit so I'm sure you will all have a wonderful time.
Hello Nick,
Welcome to the forum. I've never been to Florida at Christmas but I know it is a hugely popular time to visit so I'm sure you will all have a wonderful time.
My own 'must do' in the Christmas Season is the Osborne Family Lights at Disney Hollywood Studios. They really are spectacular, especially when they have them dancing to the music that they play. It is very busy so be prepared to be with a crowd of people though!
Welcome Nick, Christmas in Florida is on our 'to do' list, I'm sure you will have a fantastic time
Hi Nick,
Me and the wife are off on Nov 29th for three weeks. We often go this time of year as it coincides with our wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday. Although it can get a bit chilly at night we love this time of year, not too hot, although you do get the odd bad day but that can happen any time of year. Seeing everything decorated for Xmas is great. If you get time pop to Celebration just a few minutes from where you are staying for some snow.
I'm just down the road from you in Headcorn, perhaps I'll see a Segway this way.
Regards
Keith
We would much rather be going in summer, but as my business is "leisure industry" and we are flat out March to October Christmas is the only option within school holidays. Still looking forward to it, just less lounging around the pool I guess.
Hi, welcome to the forum. It's certainly a great place to find good information. Xmas is a great time to visit Florida.
A great thing to do is to visit the Disney hotels to view their decorations. The Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridiacn is terrific. You can take the free boat ride from Hollywood Studios to Epcot and get off at the Yacht and Beach Club and the Boardwalk it is lovely to view their decorations.
