Another newbie here.

We are a family of 5 returning to Florida for the first time since 2006. It has taken a long time because the last time we visited we saw something that caused us to open our own business here in the UK,and have been busy building that business up, but that's another story []

We have been 3 times previously, but never in "winter" , we are flying out on 19th December for two weeks, and have everything (well almost everything) booked including extra pool heat.

We've often looked at Villas for sale in the past, but might just take that search a little more seriously this time.

We are staying at Calabay Park in Davenport, just down the road from our last location at Westridge, and are we liked.

Apart from the usual info on owning, my initial search will be park tickets etc (three daughters, 1 x 15 year old and 2 x 11 year olds).

Hope to get to "know" some of you as the countdown progresses!

Last time we visited the girls were content with Disney for a day or two, but they are now getting into the theme park rides big time, so I think we will be spending a bit more time at the parks this visit.
We've "done" the usuals (KSC, Gatorland, airboat rides etc) and as I have a passion for classic American cars (having previously owned a vintage Thunderbird) the Old Town Cruise is an absolute must, but wonder what's new or "a bit different" that we might enjoy? Anyone got any suggestions?

Hello Nick, as Euan said the Park-Tickets.com is the best site for your park tickets.

As you have not visited in December before it can get a little cool in the early morning and evenings, so a fleece or two will be handy.

The parks are amazing at any time but at Xmas they are extra magical all dressed up in their finest festive glory. Enjoy your trip.
