Auto Train

Has anyone ever taken the auto train (on the east coast from Virginia to Orlando? Thanks.

I have looked into it and it takes a long time and is expensive.

I had some guests once who did that and the terminal is somewhere north of Orlando. Not sure how much it was but check out the Amtrak website at http://www.amtrak.com

I know that taking the train from Orlando to Boston was 30 hours....and over $200 one way if you booked just before leaving......

Put that against Two and a half hours by plane at a cost of $72......and there was no contest.....
I would of looked at the Auto train had it ran from Boston or Even New York....but unless you live in Virginia....its a bit useless....
