Hi Roger on checking our bank statement we have been Alamo have taken the 2 small amounts above. Do you know
what this could be for? We dropped the car off on 30.6.12 and have our own Sun Pass Transponder which was
working fine whilst we were there ?

Sorry to hear about this. I wonder if maybe youre own transponder didn't register on some occasions, as these look like toll charges. You need to email info@uscarhire.co.uk with all your order details and a copy of the above then we can look in to it for you.

If as Roger has said your transponder failed to register and you had registered your rental car to your transponder/account then it still should have been charged to your Sun Pass Account and not your credit card that had been given to Alamo when you picked up the car.
Also had you not agreed to Alamo's toll charges, which you wouldn't with your own transponder then the charges should have been for a toll violation I would have though which would be higher.
With Alamo, you do not need to pre-agree to use the Toll pass. You just go through the tolls and they charge you the admin charge ($2 per day used) plus the toll, so no fines. I'm guessing you didn't register the toll pass to your rental car before you used it? If you did, then the charge really should have gone against your card not via Alamo if the transponder failed to register the toll.
