Part 2 Continued:
After the bone-shaking truck ride we got out the maps and planned a route.
Goofy was a real sport. We’ve never seen a character get so involved with the visitors, he was a hoot. If anyone from Disney Corp. is reading this, The Goofy who was posing with the guests at around 11.45 on May 27th deserves a bonus.
The fast pass system worked so well for us today, we were virtually going from ride to ride with barely any waiting time.
I think it’s fair to say we’d well and truly ‘done’ Animal Kingdom by the end of the day. Mrs Dad’s Taxi and I love the shows best, and Nemo and Lion King are both excellent.

Plan A had been to round off the day at The Rainforest Cafe, but we’d all snacked too much during the day and wouldn’t have done it justice, so we drove down to Walmart, had a good browse, stocked up on essentials (well, the kids filled the van with beers and cider) then finished the day by giving The Golden Coral buffet at the West end of the 192 a good thrashing.
So, a great start to the hols, and none of us had a bad thing to say about the day, not even this little guy:
