Think I have persuaded DH to go for a cabana at Discovery Cove, can anyone tell me of their experiences, is it worth paying the extra, what do you get for the money etc....
All opinions welcome [msnsmile2]

Is this the Latin American restaurant in Georgetown? I Googled it as I wasn't sure what you meant and this is what came up.

Hi
We rented a Cabana when we went last June - the weather was hot and we had our then 2 1/2 year old grand daughter with us.
I for one do not like the constant sun and lack of shade in the water parks (unless you are first in the queue and manage to get somewhere - but from experience they are few and far between) and with the little one we did not want her to have to stay in the hot sun all day without a break. There are restaurants and such there but they are always full and quite noisy and not really suitable to stop in for a rest.
The Cabana was fantastic and we were able to leave all our stuff inside - there was a fridge which we could put our own drinks into (we took quite a few), the Cabana area is reasonably secure - you get a wristband to wear so only Canaba renters can go in. And most of all we got the shade and quiet we required. They are not large but they are, from our point of view, adequate.
Our Cabana was close to all the pools etc and if we go again we will definately be booking another one.
Now I know this will not suit everyone and it is really each to his own - but for us it made the day more bearable.
Issy
