    Unfortunately Roger this doesn't seem to be the case. My son arrived on Tuesday evening and the kiosk didn't work for him. Fortunately there wasn't much of a queue so he went to the desk and was soon sorted although the guy behind the desk did give him the hard sell him on upgrades etc.

    We going out to join them next weekend and I'm dreading the kiosk not working as Steve doesn't do queuing!

    So to answer whats on everyones mind...do we que up in line or just go to kiosks in car park garage?
    Really confusing...with budget i pre paid and pre informed them and just collected keys from kiosk..was on the road so quick!

    when are budgets rates available?

    Florida Car Hire/USCarHire no longer offer Budget or Dollar - just Alamo/National which is the same company.

    That might change in the future though . We constantly review things and speak to all car rental companies and do change as and when we get a reliable product we can offer to customers.

    We arrived here on May 4th and the kiosk worked perfectly for us. But we met our friend's son on Sunday and it didn't work, he tried his credit card and then his reservation number - he got the message to see an agent. The queue at the desk wasn't too long though and he was dealt with very quickly.

    We are here now and had booked the "Save Time' option but the kiosk didn't work for us when we tried to swipe our card or entered our reservation number so we just went to the desk. There was no queue though. We did have to insist that we wanted to bring the car back with full tank of petrol.

    Arrived yesterday, went into Sanford for the first time in a few years, Last time we used the kiosks here they worked, but for us never at MCO, this time, they did not work here either, so as of yet, we have not been able to use the kiosks for about two years since always being able to sign up for save time.

    On our recent trip we hired 2 cars (decided to extend our stay while we were there!!) the first time the kiosk at MCO worked perfectly, the second time it wouldn't recognise the number or credit card.

    We fly into Sanford this Saturday 16th and signed up with Alamo Kiosk and last time at MCO we to had a problem and the guy said go straight out to the parking lot, what did you do?

    Now call me cynical [msnscared] but has anyone else noticed that the kiosks only seem to work when the queues get to a certain length ?????
    Shorter queues = available agents = chance for them to push "upgrades" & make comission................
