    Question three double beds

We are travelling to Florida in November 2013 but need a house with three double beds (three couples) most three and four bedroom houses have two doubles and two twin rooms my question is can twin beds be converted into one double.
    Thank you

Yes Kym, we took that route for flexibility. When you send your request through for villas vie the websites above just specify that request and those that can will reply to you [msnsmile]

Our guests have the option of a third King Bedroom if requested . As Karen posted request this when you send your enquiry via the OV websites . I know of many owners who offer this option. Enjoy choosing the villa for your trip to Orlando.

    Hi Kim
Welcome back was only thinking about you the other day, when a couple of other former members started reposting after not being here for a while and it reminded me of you. Hope you and your "boys" are all well.
Lots of owners are now using a bed converter of "zip'n'link" beds which convert twins to doubles. What might make more difference though if the "children" are now coming as couples is not just the number of double bedrooms but the number of bathrooms as that can be what causes as many issues as the bedroom arrangements. I know it can cause issues with people waiting to get ready to go out etc.
Actually we've been in Scarborough for the weekend and booked 13 rooms in an older hotel with configurations of single/twin/double and family and virtually all of the larger rooms beds were made with using the twin converters and nobody found they were uncomfortable.

We have a number of repeat guests who are made up of 3 couples so a few years ago we converted one of our twin rooms and now have both a double and a single bed in this rather than two singles. This bedroom is just at the side of the third bathroom so makes it almost ensuite. Suits us and our guests.

Kym have you thought about looking at the 5 bed villas, most of them have 3 master bedrooms with en-suites

i'm thinking more of villas like mine Phil, where the set up is one master and one family bathroom (although we do have a 3rd Cabana half bath by the pool with outside shower. With one couple getting the en suite and the other 2 couples having to share one bathroom there coukd be tension (unless Mum and Dad are paying in which case they either take it or leave it imo
If there weren't any suitable 4 beds then as suggested a 5 bed may be just as ecnomical especially bearing in mind November will not be peak season for all owners (some who concentrate on US market may have different peak seasons with Thanksgiving and Black Friday at the end of the month being very popular times to go away.
