4th of July

Please be nice 1st post,

going to Orlando arriving on the 3rd looking for some free fireworks to watch on the 4th as not going in to any parks on first day. Had a little internet hunt came across the fireworks at Celabration wondering if they would be ok or any other options.

We've done Celebration (but didn't stay for the fireworks) and it was a great atmosphere. The only warning is that I have a vague recollection of them not doing the 4th of July last year and a lot of people turning up and being very disappointed - I may be wrong, though ????? Can someone confirm/deny?

Another common recommendation is the park at Kissimmee.

I think Celebration did fireworks 4th July last year.....they had a big 80's theme night, but they did not do them at New Year which may be what you were remembering.

Get there early as the traffic can be horrendous and the parking from what i remember.

Celebration did do fireworks on the 4th of July last year but it was manic to say the least. At 7:30 the queue of cars started at the 192, went last year but wouldn't go again as it was far too busy for us.
