Flown Man-Philly-Orlando a number of times (mainly because we got really good prices especially travelling around Christmas. Found immigration very efficient and only had 1hr 40 connection time on the outbound leg and no problems. Had a couple of hours wait on the way back, had a meal in TGI's, looked round the shops and then it was time to board.
Try to book seats in the front section of the aircraft on the transatlantic route as they have much better legroom. You may have to sign up to their loyalty programme to be able to pre-book these at no extra charge but worth that bit of extra effort for that bit of extra comfort!
