    Local Beer.

Ok experts, are there any good local beers in the Orlando area? I know all the mass produced stuff..coors, bud, mick ect..but what are the local beers? I remember finding Killion Red when I was in New York a few years ago and have never had it since. Found a couple of nice local beers in Winnipeg a couple of years ago. So basically I like to try the 'home brew' of the area I'm staying at. All suggestions will be tried and rated, I may have to try a few bottles of each suggestion right enough. [msnwink]

I am a beer drinker and all that I can see whenever I go to Orlando is Budweiser or maybe Coors. I don't know if there is a famous (or even not-so-famous) local brew. Maybe there isn't.

It's not local brew but HOB have Boston beer on tap - quite a heavy beer, not at all like the Buds and the Coors.

Sam Adams, Pete's Wicked, Steam Anchor, Brooklyn Lager are brewed in the US and quite popular. Althought not locally brewed in Florida they are full bodied and tasty. I'm sure you can find bottles in large supermarkets. []
