Visiting New Orleans

Hi Everyone out to the villa in Feb going to drive to New Orleans for mardi gras anyone done this before ?

Yes, we've been twice and loved it! We drove from Orlando both times and enjoyed the trip just as much as New Orleans. Just ask if there's anything specific you want to know.

We have also driven from thr villa to New Orlean, we stopped off in Tallahassee overnight on the way there ( waste of time) but on the way back we just drove right through and just stopped for lunch

Loved New Orleans and stayed in La Mothe House which was a really old antiquated hotel but just what we wanted... was going to go back this year but it's more an adult place so will wait until we go on our own

Mardi Gras is great fun but definately not for children, it is adult entertainment..............

You will have an absolutely fantastic time - we can't wait to go back. There's a webcam which we watch occasionally which is set up in the French Quarter ( Earthcam so easy to find on Google)
