Thomsom Gold Villas? Pics?

Ours is booked in the Kissimmee Area, probably Cumbrian Lakes

Does anyone have any interior pics of one of these or similar?
the brochure doesnt do it any justice im sure!

Hi,

When you book through travel agent like this, then you are allocated a villa on arrival, so it could be one of literally hundreds that are all different inside depending on the owners taste etc. The gold standard means that you should get one which is better than average.

A lot of people here will tell you that you should rent directly from the owners (through a website like this) rather than through a travel agent and there is a lot to be said for doing this as you know exactly where your villa is, exactly what it will look like inside, you get to speak to the owner directly and get an understanding of how well they look after their villa, ask questions about the location and facilities etc.

Others will tell you that the way you have done it is the best way as your booking is backed by ABTA, you have a big company behind you if anything goes wrong, there are people on the ground in Florida to complain to if there is an issue and they have access to other villas if need be to rectify it.

Personally, we have always book direct with the owners, without incident. Either way though, you get to enjoy a fantastic holiday in Florida with all the space and amenities that only a villa can provide... have fun

We stayed in a Thomson gold villa a few years back and I have to say it was one of the nicest villas we have ever stayed in! We now book direct with owners as after being quite a few times location and certain facilities have become important to us, that said most villas are all within easy reach and in the lovely airconned car even if the journey is 10mins longer it is still a pleasure! I am sure your villa will be lush and its very exciting seeing it for the first time when you arrive! Have an amazing time!
