Just wondering, with the old forum software we got a pop-up if we logged on and had a PM in our inbox. Is it possible to get a similar mod for the new forum software, It was incredibly annoying ... but useful!

I think we do get something although it's a lot more subtle than the old one that definitely got your attention!

I think that the word Notifications at the top gets a blue background. With the FB tab beside it, it kind of visually gets lost. I wasn't a great fan of the old pop-up, however, like the early morning alarm call, it grabs your attention!! So ... I have to admit to missing it!!

It's still there but maybe your security software is stopping it with this version. It probably works in a different way as I had to make a change with mine.

I still get a pop up but I can't access the PM from the pop up.
