Beautiful photos John!

If you ever want to go more monochromatic try split-toning as well. It can give some beautiful results. It's awesome on portraits.

Not done any from Florida yet but this post got me experimenting with a recent local shot, I may have to revisit from from recent visits and attempt some from my upcoming trip

They look great John, they could be good drawings and would look reaaly good in a nice frame.

Nice effect on that one. I've got some photos of a local ruin (Morton Corbet Castle if anyone knows it) that I've been playing with that looks similar to that. Looking forward to seeing your Florida ones.

OK, quick and dirty pp and possibly not ideal for the treatment but here goes. I think next time I may shoot some specifcally for this type of processing...those bright skies almost ask for it at times
