Orlando Villas is now an iPhone App

We've just had our Orlando Villas App approved in Apple's App Store [msnsmile2].

You can find it by searching for "Orlando Villas" in iTunes or using the following links:

It should also be available in the App Store in all other countries too, but I just mentioned the links above as they will suit the vast majority of anyone reading this.

The App allows you to search all our villas (on Orlando Villas and Orlando Villa Rentals) in real time and just return those homes which are available for the dates you entered.

You can then go on to see a summary of your villa, view photos of the villa and also make an enquiry.

Might be just my devices but I'm having problems setting the dates for availability.

When I set the "From' date on the wheel and tap 'Done' the date that then comes up in the Search is different (usually a week later).

Hmmm. It was fine when we were testing it. I'll have a look into it and see if I can replicate it.

I tried a few dates - try 25 Feb 2012.

It's ok, I've managed to replicate it and fixed the issue. I need to submit an update to Apple in the morning and then wait until they approve it again (about 3 days or thereabouts). It was working fine in testing as well. If you just choose a start date a week before the one you want for now, it will do what it should.

I don't have an iphone but may get one when this current contract expires... will need to get used to all this app stuff!!

Just be on the safe side I've just removed it from sale so as not to confuse anyone else that downloads it. Normal service will be resumed as soon as Apple approve the update to the App I have just submitted.

It might still be available for a few hours yet as Apple's servers catch up with the fact I've just removed the App from sale.

Version 1.03 has just been approved by Apple and is now live on the App Store using the links in my first post above.

It may be a couple of hours before Apple's servers catch up and it's showing when you search for it in the App Store or it shows as an available Update on your iPhone / iPod / iPad, but it should be there later on this evening all being well .
