    Belz Designer Outlet shopping

Having seen Universal Studios twice before, my wife has decided to give the place a miss this time when we visit Orlando in late Spring. The plan is for us to drop her off at the BELZ DESIGNER SHOPPING CENTER before proceeding ourselves to US, picking her up in the evening on our way back to the villa. So, she will be on her own with a lot of shopping to do and I wondered if there is any place within Belz where she can periodically secure her shopped items before going back for more.

To be honest and this is of course my own view here. I feel that Belz Mall isnt what it used to be. Having just returned from Florida, I visited Belz again along with a couple of other Malls in the area. I am a fan of the new Premium Outlet Mall Just past the junction of the I4 and 192 and the new Mall at Milennia is huge and full of all the designer stores that you would expect from your visit.
I noticed that a few stores had closed down at Belz and to me the place feels a bit dated. The outer buildings of Belz (CK, Ralph Lauren, Timberland etc) are still great value so Im sure your wife will still enjoy it.

Thanks. All of us are going to the Mall at Millenia on another day; also, my wife wants to visit the Florida Mall when rest of us go to Kennedy Space Center. As for Belz, she wants to go to the Belz DESIGNER Outlet Center and not the Belz Factory Outlet, which is also nearby. We've never been to the Premium Outlet Mall, but if you say it is good, I'll mention it to her.

I would agree with Lee. We went to Beltz in October and didnt think very much of it. The only good thing is that the ever growing Festival Bay is within 2 minutes.
We like the premiun outlets, it has good quality shops and a food court.
We have not tried Milennia yet and still trying to keep the wife away from that one.[msnwink]

I have no problem with that. The wife can go to as many malls as she wishes. We both work and it will be HER money that she'll be spending, including any penalty for excessive luggage. Make no mistake about that!!

I would recommend Premium Outlook Mall - Millenia Mall is not an outlet - lovely but not if you want any bargains!

Don't think there is anywhere you can leave your shopping, but you could always try the individual shops concerned, or ask Guest Services when she asks for her discount booklet. If you are a member of the AA you get AAA discounts, if not pick up one of the discount voucher books on the 192 - they are usually in that as well.
