Lost our seats!
Booked VA flights with Opodo back in June for Dec'11 and selected our seats. Now found out that as the seat layout has changed we've lost our seats and there wasn't much choice left. Gone from 2 seats by window to 2 in a bank of 4 in the centre. Bit disappointed that not advised sooner and we might have had more choice on alternatives - oh well that will teach us to book early! (usually last minute). Hopefully that will be the only low of the holiday
What a disappointment for you both. If it was me I would be upset Once you are in Florida you will forget all about it.[msnwink]

We had the same problem but could not reselect any seat as all pre-bookable seats had gone. I complained to Customer Services but got the stock answer that they did not guarantee seats and it was not their policy to inform people. I then wrote to Steve Ridgway the CEO of Virgin but did not get a reply.
We were concerned that having booked seats in December 2010 for November 2011 we would not be able to sit together. As things panned out 2 days before we were due to fly I looked at "My Booking" on line and we had been allocated 2 seats together with a window seat so we were content. We are in Florida at the moment and hope that we can get 2 seats together for the flight home on Friday.
Very disappoined with Virgin who we have always flown with but are trying Thomsons next May.
