It's a really tricky one as wherever there are forums there will be people who mis-interpret posts and perhaps take offence or other people who come to forums specifically to cause mischief (thankfully we've not got many, if any, of this latter type and do ban any that come along for obvious reasons).
It's always going to be tricky to express yourself in a written medium without having the face to face benefit of seeing expressions and realising what the poster really means. We totally encourage all posters to be respectful of other people on here and would hope anyone who thinks someone has somehow over-stepped the mark, can email us to let us know their concerns or use the Report To Moderator link on the appropriate post (the small black triangle to the bottom left of each post). We treat all such contact in total confidence and may well be blissfully unaware of it without being prompted.
We now have a large team of moderators on the forums who are very pro-active and will take immediate steps to ensure everything is kept as it should be. The forums are here for all and no-one should feel they cannot post for fear of being dis-respected or for any other reason.
I'm more than happy to hear about hotel stays in trip reports and anything else really, as long as it relates to travel and specifically to Florida. You can post anything else if you like too, using our Off Topic forum section. I personally enjoy reading it all and am sure a lot of our other readers and contributors do too.
