    Newark Transfer Between Terminals

Flying Continantal from Edinburgh into Newark then connecting to Continental flight to MCO, and vice-versa on return journey. What is the best/quickest ways to transfer between terminals B & C. Also, what is the walking distance/time between these terminals. As i will need to clear customs & immigration on inbound flight, will I need to check in again for the EWR/MCO leg and again go through security?

Newark is a hub airport and is usually very good at connecting flights.

You cannot walk between terminals. but they do have an airtrain, that can get you there in minutes. Have done this connection many, many times over the past 8 years. As with any international flight you will collect your luggage to go through customs. But just a small walk to the drop off area to put it all back on, then onto your left up the stairs, airtrain, down stairs, you then have the option to go through two different security one will be just to your left, or up the stairs again to your left down stairs and there is another one, one security is for gates 0-100 and then the other is 100-upwards. sometimes one has been quicker than the other.

you do not need to check in again, you will already have your boarding card at edinburgh you just go back through security.

LIke Ceri I have done the Newark connection many times and all she has stated is true. I will add though that Newark is a very large airport and the staff are quite manic at security with all their shouting about shoes, jackets, liquids etc. There are great distances to walk and we have waited at times a good five minutes for the airtrain. Might not sound significant but if your transfer time is less than 90 minutes all minutes count.
