Our flight on Tuesday morning was cancelled and rearrange for Thursday. Just made the call and conditions are perfect for tomorrow. Meeting at 6.30am, Monday night I was fine and dissappointed that it was cancelled. This evening not so fine, really nervous.

5.46am, leaving in 5 minutes to go to the meet place. Kept waking up all night, feeling very anxious, everyone else excited and calm.

I am not keen on heights, but in a balloon it is altogether different - no wind, no noise, no swaying. You can hear so much from the ground, dogs barking etc.

Arrived at meeting point, went to field and watched balloon being inflated, at this point I was absolutely terrified and about ready to refuse to go. Climbed into basket, pictures taken, still nervous but ready to give it a shot. Started to rise into the air, OMG!!! so still, so magical, no motion just slowly rising. Fear gone completely, hooked on ballooning, absolutely amazing and the most magical feeling in the world. I hour went so quick I couldnt believe it, when we came down it was as gentle as when we went up. I have to do it again!!!!!!!!!
This from the biggest wuss in the world. Don't do heights, don't do roller coasters, don't do flumes. Give me a hot air balloon though and I will be there.[clap][clap]
