    Americans with Disabilities Act

Do the recent changes to this act mean that any villa available for vacation rental is subject to its various conditions for access to the pool and the spa? [ie must install hand rails etc]

    All info welcome

If this was the case, then I would assume all MC's and STR owners would have been notified of any changes necessary.

Hand rails have been a requirement for some years. Although how the existing types are supposed help disabled folk is beyond me (its the ones at the top of the ladder).

We have never had hand rails and neither has any other home in our community which was built 2004 unless the owners have put them in since. Our community is STR and I have received no documentation to say we need hand rails in the 7 years since the home was built. Having visited friends on many communities, their homes on STR's don't have hand rails either. Where does it state they are a requirement please?
