    very disappointed in Aquatica

    I fell over and fractured my wrist in Aquatica. The first aid guys were great. I was offered a refund on tickets (no problem as bought as a bundle with DC) car park and towels/lockers as we had only just arrived. I was going to ask for deductible too but at this stage just what they offered would be nice. I was given a card with phone numbers, email and fax of Risk Management as they have to deal with it. I have left voicemails, email was returned 'doesn't exist', SW guest relations tried for 3 hours, stopped at HR building for SW and they tried, gave me number for head of Risk Management so left her a voice mail. I have contacted Aquatica through the website. NOTHING. [!]

    Emailed Seaworld through their website and have at long last got in contact with someone. He says he's tried to email me twice before but it's been returned wrong address. Relieved and hopefully faith restored but we'll see how it pans out

    Having discussions regarding reimbursements but will take a couple of weeks while they review it and they are giving us some tickets with, hopefully, a 7 year expiry (as will be at least 5 years til we go again).

    Getting there with Aquatica

    getting refunds sorted from Aquatica (just trying to sort amount. They worked out $83 whereas I worked it out to $136.50) and they are giving us tickets for Seaworld for next time (6 year expiry) with guest VIP attached. Not sure what difference that will make apart from getting a fast pass for rides!

    Been speaking to a lovely chap called Walter so once got hold of someone they have been ok was just difficult getting hold of them! He said he had tried to email me twice and they had been returned (so they had input it wrong)

    Wrist has been better for few days now and don't have to have it in sling all the time. Consultant says fracture unusual and worst thing is crack has a gap in which means arthritis in a few years [msnsad] He will take cast off earlier than usual as he is worried about it getting stiff and immobile.

    UPDATE - Had an email from Walter at Seaworld today. Few problems with payment and Walter wa very apologetic that it is taking so long. Hopefully be sorted out soon but because of the delay they are adding meals in as well. And because of the delay and it is Christmas soon they are giving us a choice of behind the scenes tours. Will be sending list tomorrow and we choose from that list - how wonderful is that???? Very difficult to get hold of them in the beginning but since then I must say Walter has been lovely and I will miss our email correspondance once it is sorted! Kids are very excited about this and is just a shame that we will not be able to go for about 5 years. I am however entering any competition I can where the prize is a Florida holiday - well someone has to win it
