    Shooting range/gallery recommendations

Whilst wife & daughter are shopping for wedding gowns, we are looking for something to take our minds of weddings. Shooting range/galleries will probably do that and take up the time, can anyone recommend one that we should consider.

Not giving the hard sell but we get the highest positive feedback for this experience.

We went to the Oakridge gun range last week, had a really good time, 3 of us 2 and a half hours - $180 inc. The .44 Magnum nearly broke my wrist but it was a great experience.

I see it takes kids under 10. What do they do during the day? There will be a mutiny if I don't take my sons here during our holiday, having failed to do so the last few times, but if I bring my 9 year old daughter along will she be shooting things?

It is open to all ages but the instructer has the right to stop anyone he deems unfit to hold a firearm. Anyone not shooting can spectate from a safe area. When I went there were some very young children having a great time.

    florida firearms

can highly recommend 'florida firearms' booked through this site. my hubbie and son had the most fantastic day there in june this year, they got Jim the owner/instructior all to themselves. they were the only ones booked that day so prob got lots more practise than if it had been full, i think they take up to 12. go for it !!
