My daughter is getting married next November on Castaway Cay and she will be looking at David's Bridal for her Wedding Dress. My wife and I had a look when we were over in May and she thought it was fantastic with many styles, sizes and prices and even designer dresses such as Vera Wang - it was a bit above my head to be honest - just a load of dresses but I am just a man.

David's Bridal looks very interesting - just did a google search and they have branches in Millenia Plaza,Tampa and quite a few on Gulf Coast. Here's a selection of special dresses http://www.davidsbridal.com/Browse_S...l-Long-Dresses

Thanks very much, just had a look and guess that's a day of the holiday accounted for! Some
beautiful dresses and very good prices, I think they better bring their credit card! Don't think Katie will be able to resist!!!

Pauline its in Millenia Plaza which is near the Mall at Millenia.

My wife and daughter are going to have a look this November whilst myself and her fiance go the the Best of Britsh Bar to watch the Blackburn v Chelsea game. I guess they will be in there longer than the game.

    Hi Liesa,
I got both my daughters prom dresses from Macys, really different, Lauren made the front page of the local paper, pictured on her own as her dress was so different - the heading was 'Excitement at the Prom' her dress was a full lenghth fitted sequin dress with a long fishtail. The sequins changed colour from coral to lilac as she moved. All the dresses were bought in the sales.
Hope your daughter has a great time.

We are at the house at the moment, poured with rain most of the day and tomorrow. Friday and Saturday are supposed to be 96 with little chance of rain. We had a great time at the Sealord hotel in Lauderdale by the Sea, got a good start to the tan and some great shoppoing at Sawgrass Mill Mall. It's 2.45am here, Alfie has been txting me as he is on his way to Gatwick to join us, we pick him up at 5 from MCO

thanks Kaz, we're really looking forward to having a good look around... think Lauren was thinking it was going to be a long boring holiday as she is the only one with Steve and I.... not sure my poor knee will be ready for this...lol

Not having much success on this. Found a couple in Maceys but they are similar prices to UK. None in JCPenneys that she liked (good price if you find one you like). There's a store Runway - two in Florida Mall but quite frilly and around $450 for a long dress. Cache didn't have any. Still got David's Bridal to try.

Had success today at JC Penney. It's worth checking a couple of times as we didn't have any luck on the tax free weekend a few weeks ago. Today there were some more dresses available and Olivia now has one she is very happy with - JC Penney were also giving an additional $10 off purchases over $25. Worth the effort as there probably won't be anyone in the same dress
