Can't think of any on the strip with balconies (but that doesn't mean there aren't any!)

They mostly have floor to ceiling windows. Get a strip view room if you can.

Most of the hotels I have seen there, do not have balconies, this maybe due to the height of the hotels etc. Although there are resort hotels outside of the main strip area that have golf courses etc that are not high and do have balconies.

Never seen any, but when we have een there it would have been far to hot to sit out on one anyway.

I think it may be more to do with the bad publicity if heavy losers decided not to use the lift as the quickest way to the ground floor.

This is the view from the Wynn Hotel. You can see right down the strip when at the window

Have a look at 'apartments' on the strip.

A lot of them are are really hotel suites but many do have balconies. For starters, look at the Signature apartments at the MGM Grand but there are others and the price is comparable to that for a good suite.

We stayed at the Signature in October. The suites were superb. You could pay a little extra and request a room with a balcony but for the amount of time you spent in it we chose not to. An excellent hotel (with the exception of the Deli cafe which was not the best).

Thanks all - unfortunately no room at the MGM Signature but that would have been the perfect option for us as they do a suite with 2 bedrooms for the teenagers and then a room for us -now looking at Venetian. Balcony was for other half to smoke!
