You are always better off exchanging money in the UK - you wont get as much for your money once you're over there

anyone have any opinions to what the rate is going to do over the next few months?
Are there any FX traders here?

Its currently about 1.58, i would have thought with the US being downgraded with regards to its credit rating, the dollar would have got weak and the rates would have gone up, but they have stayed the same....

They went up on Monday and I got 1.60 but have gone down all week.

yeah, looking back over the last few months, its has remained pretty stable at 1.55-1.65......ah it was only three years ago that i got 2.10 to the pound... ahh good times
