    Great Place To Eat

    Hi Everyone

We have just returned from Florida having spent a glorious 10 days. Whilst at Celebration we had a great meal at Thai Thanai on the corner of Market Street. We can recommend the satay to start but cannot remember the main course. Good sized portions and nice atmosphere.

Has anyone tried the Italian there?

Thanks for the recommendation I will try in next time we are over.

A great place to find out about restaurants is the FLORIDA GUIDE where members of the forum write reviews of places they have been. I have put a link below for one such review of Antonio's which is the Italian restaurant you asked about.

Within the Guide there are over 400 articles on places to eat so it's a good place to spend a little time.

We go to Thai Thani at Celebration at lwast once during our holiday, infact we were there for the grand opening and all the food and drinks were free - a fab night was had by all.

The food is always fresh and delicious.

We have been to Cafe De Antonio and were a bit let down last time we went, especially after the waiter said our 10 year old was classed as an adult so he had to have an adult meal and not a childrens meal.

    We wont be going back

We prefer Thai Thani on I Drive. Have been to the Celebration one a couple of times, but the other one is more authentic and has a lot more Thai style bric a brac. Food was good in both outlets though.

Had one very good meal in D'Antonio's and one not so good. Will go back though as it does have a good reputation.

We also enjoy the Town Tavern at Celebration for a casual night out. Great food and atmosphere.

We have been going to D'Antonio's since they opened, but something seems to have gone wrong lately. We went last time out and the service was poor and the meal only half decent. That is the third time we have been diappointed so probably will not go back.

Thank you for the recommendation. It is always good to have some new places to try on future visits.
Will definitely try Thai Thanai, but maybe give D'Antonio's a miss!

Thanks for that. Have put both Thai Thanai and Town Tavern on our list of new places to try when we are over in September.

We too have been very disappointed both with the service and the subsequent attitude when we complained. Having made an actual visit to the restaurant to book and make them aware of our requirements it was galling to find little attention given to that and a very poor experience as a result.

Suspect it's another of these operations trading on their name/position and indifferent to the indivudual guest.
