It is sometimes easier to present as a group (especially if any of the others are travelling otherwise as a single person) as the Immigration Officer may otherwise ask more questions of the person travelling "alone" just to clarfiy they are not travelling with intent to stay/work etc. My suggestion would be when you near the front of the queue (it is a single queue at MCO now) to ask the person directing the queue the question, that way they know you are doing/trying to do the "right thing".
You don't fill in the Green I94 now but you still have the white Customs form (you fill in one of these for each person/family with a different surname living at a different address.
